Refuse derived fuel (RDF) are fuels that are mainly obtained from industrial, bulky and commercial waste or sorting residues from recyclable material sorting systems. In this way, the energy contained in the waste can be used, primary resources such as coal and gas can be saved and CO2 emissions reduced.
We rely on REDWAVE, because the company offered us the best solution from a single source. The system runs perfectly, the specified performance has been exceeded, our customer is enthusiastic about the product.
In order to be able to produce high-quality refuse derived fuels, the material goes through several processing steps such as shredding, sieving, air sifting of the waste up to the recovery of high-quality secondary raw materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The material is freed from contaminants, and valuable materials are recovered. By further shredding the remaining waste, a high-quality fuel is made at the end of the processing.
REDWAVE can achieve high levels of purity and guarantees high waste throughput with effective recovery of required materials and thus increases your yield. We offer engineering, production, delivery up to the turnkey handover of the sorting plant.
The REDWAVE test and innovation centre, newly built in 2020, was not only built for continuous improvement and advancement in research and development; primarily it is there for our customers. Our test centre is always available for sorting tests.
