REDWAVE XRF

X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) is capable of detecting the chemical composition of materials. This means that by sorting with XRF, you can separate mixes of non-ferrous metals into the individual constituents like aluminum, zinc, copper, stainless steel, and more. Simply change the sorting program on the included HMI, and you can sort the metals you want, all with one machine.

 

REDWAVE XRF fine

The cutting-edge REDWAVE XRF fine sorting machine sets new benchmarks for sorting fine materials in the metal recycling industry. It can accurately detect and sort a blend of non-ferrous metals starting from a size of 4 mm, to produce high-quality products such as pure copper, brass, zinc and precious metal fractions.

 

REDWAVE CX coin sorter

The REDWAVE CX coin sorter provides a very economical solution for recovering coins from industrial waste incineration (IBA slag) and car scrap through its fully automatic, sensor-based sorting system.

 

REDWAVE 2i

This technology is based on machine learning and artificial intelligence. In metal recycling it is used to detect different metals using a colour camera in combination with an all-metal strip for detection.

Sorting of IBA

Surface contamination doesn't affect XRF detection – you can sort your IBA with ease. Recover all the usable metals in the stream to get the most out of the material.

 


Sorting of ZURIK

Sort ZURIK with the same machine as ZORBA and all other non-ferrous metal types applying the same principles. Molybdenum-based stainless steel (316 and 317) can be sorted out, upgrading stainless steel to higher grades.

Uniform conveyance prevents changes in speed or position of the parts, allowing for accurate sorting. Controlling the slippage of small parts is challenging. Frequent changes in speed and position can reduce the quality of the final product or output rate.
The new and innovative REDWAVE belt prevents material from snagging.  Due to humidity and dirt fine materials may stick to the chute.
The trajectory is controllable and remains constant, which ensures accurate sorting. The trajectory of small materials changes and is unpredictable making precise sorting difficult.
